Razorback Yearbook Selected for Silver Crown

The 2007 Razorback received a Silver Crown award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. The Crown awards are the second most prestigious given in the nation for yearbook excellence. It is the first Crown award the book has received since 1992 and only the fourth time in Razorback history the book has received a Crown.

Razorback Staffers Receive Top Honors

Members of the 2007 Razorback yearbook staff have been awarded Gold Circles, given out by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association to recognize individual excellence. The staff members and their awards are:

Mallory Smith
  • First place for Division pages
  • Third place for Opening and Closing pages
  • Honorable Mention for Endsheets
  • Honorable Mention in the Sports Spread category for Lady’Back Track page
  • Honorable Mention in the Feature Presentation category for Darren McFadden page
Carolyn Finnie
  • First place in the Mini-Magazine for Year in Review mini magazine
  • Honorable Mention in the Feature Presentation category for Darren McFadden page
  • Honorable Mention in the Color Spread category for Razorback Football page
Megan Garner
  • First place in the Mini-Magazine for Year in Review mini magazine
