Distribution, pt. 2 and other exciting happenings
We handed out several thousand 2009 yearbooks at our distribution last month in record time, and we have received additional books to hand out to students. Come and pick up your copy at Kimpel 119L! We'll be doing a second distribution in January, but books are disappearing fast, so don't wait!
Things are going well at the Razorback. After our two Pacemaker wins at the end of October, we sent in 2009 entries to the Columbia Scholastic Press Association contest. The CSPA has awarded the Razorback a silver crown for the last two years in a row, and we're expecting great things for the 2009 book. We're also sending off our 2009 Associated Collegiate Press entry this week! (The ACP is the association which awards the Pacemaker Awards each year).
It's a busy time of year for everyone, and our first major publisher's deadline is this week. We have a lot of great spreads to send off, thanks to our fantastic staff members who have worked hard on them all semester!
Good luck to everyone with finals! :)
Helen
